The autonomy depends on the energy consumption of your unit, our tests as an example in a Lowrance Elite-5 Ti with Mid/High/DownScan transducer have been more than 15 hours of interrupted use.

It is advisable to use a protective fuse before connecting our device and fully charge the device before use, as well as not leave it as not leaving it fully charged if we anticipate long periods of inactivity.

It is advisable to clean the connectors after use, especially in salt water, is all we should keep in mind.

PRE-ASSEMBLY INDICATIONS:

Your device must be compatible with Power Kit Battery specifications
Note the polarity, RED (+) and BLACK (-)
The Power Kit Battery must be fully charged before first use.

Mounting

1. Cut the heat shrink strip approx through the center and first of all pass each of the cables through it leaving enough cable to work comfortably.

2. Our connection cable comes pre-peeled leaving part of the end without cover, do the same with the device cable to be connected in about the same length, winding the cable filaments to prevent part from leaving when inserted into the splice connector.

3. Be clear which cable is positive (+) and negative ( –) of the device before moving on to the next point, usually BLACK is (-) and RED (+)

4. Put the stripped wire end at each end of the splice connector ensuring that the central metal inner part touches the ends of both cables, using pliers tighten this central metal part leaving the cables attached to it, once the first one repeats the operation with the other cable.

5. Pass a heat source (a simple lighter is sufficient) from the center out evenly on each of the splice connectors until the tube adapts to the cable and wait for it to cool down before moving on to the next step.

6. Put the shrink piece covering the connector completely and reapply heat to this second layer of protection, leaving the joint completely sealed we avoid moisture inputs that would shorten the life of our Power Battery Kit.

IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

Not following the instructions for use or assembly properly may cause damage to the Power Kit Battery, connected equipment or even serious personal injury

Never use another charger than the one supplied. (danger of damage and/or fire)

Although the Power Battert Kit is moisture resistant, under no circumstances should it be submerged.

The Power Battery's rated delivery capacity is 5A with peaks up to 10A. Making use for higher consumptions could irreversibly damage the Power Battery Kit and even cause damage or fire.

Warranty

Power Battery Kit is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of one year under the Consumer Goods Sale Act 23 of July 10, 2003.

Damage caused by improper use of the product, physical damage or wear and tear due to use is excluded from the warranty.

The durability of this product is calculated in approx 500 charge/discharge cycles.

The use of this product in extreme temperature conditions significantly shortens performance.
